Jason Charlton had been a carpet fitter for 15 years and wanted a website that matched his professionalism and attention to detail. Like many business owners, Charlton Carpets used their facebook page as the main point of contact and information for their business. He was ready to take his business to the next level.
Charlton Carpets needed a responsive page with a clear and intuitive layout: Every page features quick links to the services provided and an inspiration gallery. A fixed top menu allows users easily navigate between pages.
The Contact, About and Reviews page are all links to the main homepage, thus reducing on loading time, which in turns positions the page higher.
The homepage has direct links to all the services Charlton Carpets offer to customers. The use of web elements, apps and a subtle colour scheme, signals to a contemporary and trustworthy business.
The website allows visitors to make phone calls and send e-mails at the touch of a button and make an appointment at their preferred time, which can then be followed up by Charlton Carpets.
Charlton Carpets are able to update their content on a regular basis, as WIX is incredibly easy to use and publish. Jason is looking forward to expanding his brand by posting useful content on a regular basis.
The Colour Scheme
The brand already had a logo that featured on their business letterhead and facebook page. We needed to match the colour scheme, incorporate it into the website and make it current and sleek.
Palatino is well known for its timeless class. With its carefully weighted strokes and classic renaissance form, its a popular choice for both printed and web use.
This typeface was not only a perfect match for the logo originally designed, but it also conveyed that touch of old-fashion service assurance that Charlton Carpets was looking for.
